Bring your final art for your book cover and interior spread. Don’t mount the interior spread as two separate pages with space between. Either print them as a spread on single sheet or mount them butting together in the center. If you do the wrap jacket, consider what will be on the “back ad” as the back cover is called. Reviewer’s comments?
There will be a critique to start class. Hand in the printed work after crit.
We’ll start to contemplate the next assignment: a poster where the lettering is fabricated from unusual materials. We’ll watch videos of Stefan Sagmeister and Marian Bantjes to see two of the greatest practitioners of this form.
